Brachytherapy Research Group
Our mission is to further the knowledge in Brachytherapy treatments and to find treatment solutions that have the potential to improve clinical outcomes.
Dr. Clara Ferreira is an Associate Professor at the Department of Radiation Oncology, University of Minnesota Medical School. Dr. Ferreira is the lead investigator in the brachytherapy research group.
The Brachytherapy Research Group at the University of Minnesota focuses on COMS Eye Plaque 125I Brachytherapy, GammaTile 131Cs Permanent Brain Implants Brachytherapy, Conformal Superficial Brachytherapy Device (CSBT), MRI Guided Brachytherapy, Monte Carlo Simulations, and Brachytherapy Dosimetry.
